The desk also includes built-in power outlets and customizable LED lighting with multiple modes. We break down how these specs translate to daily use, helping you decide if this black desk fits your room and workflow.
What stands out
- 47.2-inch wide desktop with a 19.7-inch depth
- Integrated monitor shelf holds up to two 24-inch monitors
- Built-in power outlets for convenient cable management
- T-shaped leg design for enhanced stability on uneven floors
- Customizable LED lights with 20 dynamic modes
Who it fits
Good fit for
This desk suits single-monitor or dual-monitor setups where space is at a premium. The monitor shelf is ideal if you want to elevate screens to eye level without using a separate arm. Gamers who value ambient lighting will appreciate the 20 LED modes. The T-shaped base works well in rooms with slightly uneven flooring, offering better stability than standard four-leg designs. It is also a good fit for students or adults who need a dedicated station for work and play in a small area.
Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you need a large surface for multiple large monitors or extensive hardware. The 19.7-inch depth is narrow, which may feel cramped if you use a large keyboard and mouse simultaneously. If you require height adjustment for standing, this fixed-height desk at 34.7 inches will not work. Buyers who prefer a minimalist look without any lighting or built-in electronics should skip this option, as the LED strips and power outlets are permanent features of the design.
Verdict: The MOTPK 47 Inch Gaming Desk offers a stable, space-saving solution with useful storage and lighting for compact setups. It is a practical choice for users who prioritize monitor elevation and ambient control over adjustability.
Key specs for this desk
Desktop Dimensions: 47.2" x 19.7"
This surface area gives you a wide workspace for your keyboard and mouse, while the 19.7-inch depth keeps your monitor close enough to reduce neck strain. You get ample room for multiple peripherals without the desk dominating your room. Compare this footprint to larger home office desks if you need extra space for paperwork or a second monitor.
Storage: Monitor Shelf
The integrated shelf lifts your display above the main surface. This clears desk space for your hands and keyboard while improving your viewing angle. It helps maintain a cleaner look by hiding cables behind the screen. When shopping for standing desks, look for similar shelf designs if you want to keep your primary work surface uncluttered and organized.
Built-In Power: Power Outlets
Built-in outlets allow you to plug in your devices directly into the desk frame. This reduces the need for external power strips and keeps cords contained. You can charge your phone or power your headset without reaching under the desk. This feature is useful for compact setups where managing multiple power sources can otherwise become messy and distracting.
Weight: 30.5 pounds
This weight indicates a lightweight frame, likely made of steel or aluminum. It makes the desk easy to move and reposition in your home office. However, you should ensure your floor can support the load without wobbling. Compare this to heavier solid wood desks if you prioritize mass over portability, as lighter frames may feel less rigid under heavy loads.
Design and Build Details
The MOTPK desk features a compact footprint measuring 47.2 inches wide by 19.7 inches deep. According to the listing, the unit weighs 30.5 pounds. This moderate weight makes it easy to move within your room but stable enough for daily use. The T-shaped leg design is highlighted for providing maximum stability, which helps prevent wobbling on uneven surfaces during intense gaming sessions.
The finish is black, creating a uniform look that matches the recommended gaming use case. A key layout element is the integrated monitor shelf, which holds up to two 24-inch monitors or a monitor arm. This shelf clears the main desktop surface, allowing you to keep your keyboard and mouse within easy reach without clutter. The shelf also accommodates a PS5, keeping your console off the floor and out of the way.
Controls for the customizable LED lights are built into the desk, offering 20 dynamic modes to adjust your ambiance. Power outlets are also included, reducing the need for external power strips. The desktop board is described as high-quality, supporting the overall sturdy feel. This combination of storage, lighting, and power options creates a focused station for adults and kids who need a dedicated space for work or play.
Setup and Everyday Use Guide
Setting up this desk requires following the included manual and step-by-step video. The listing notes that assembly is designed to be fast and hassle-free. You will need to attach the T-shaped legs to the desktop board. This leg structure is specified to provide stability, even on uneven surfaces. Once assembled, the desk stands at a fixed height of 34.7 inches. This dimension suits most standard office chairs and gaming setups.
In daily use, the 47.2-inch wide surface accommodates your keyboard, mouse, and other peripherals. The 19.7-inch depth keeps items within easy reach. A built-in monitor shelf adds functionality. The listing states this shelf can hold two 24-inch monitors, a monitor arm, or a PS5. This feature helps keep your main desktop area clear for active use. The shelf also supports an ergonomic viewing angle.
The desk includes customizable LED lights with 20 dynamic modes. These lights enhance the ambiance of your gaming or work space. You can adjust the lighting to match your preference. The unit also features built-in power outlets. This allows you to plug in devices directly without needing external power strips. The black color and compact size make it suitable for smaller rooms. The desk weighs 30.5 pounds, which provides enough mass to stay in place during use. It is designed for both gaming and study, adapting to your daily routine.
Before You Buy This Desk
This desk is built for gaming, not height adjustment. You cannot raise or lower the surface, so you must pair it with an ergonomic chair that fits your height. The monitor shelf holds two 24-inch screens or a monitor arm. Check your monitor VESA pattern and arm weight limit before buying. The shelf also fits a PS5, but verify your console size. The 19.7-inch depth is narrow. You may need a slim keyboard or a keyboard tray if you type heavily. The LED lights offer 20 modes. You will need to manage the power cable for the lights and outlets. Keep the black surface clean to avoid visible dust. This model is a static workstation. If you need to stand while working, this is not the right choice. It suits gamers who want a dedicated, stable spot for their PC and peripherals. It does not replace a full standing desk solution.

- Verify your chair height matches the fixed 34.7-inch surface.
